Gale Tobin on Spirituality and the Chinese New Year

As someone who practices spirituality during every hour of the day,
Gale Tobin is always asked about what she thinks about the belief of others. One has to realize that Gale Tobin is pretty much like everyone else; she’s no professional when it comes to the belief of others, but since I have relatives and friends who all belong to just one faith, she is oftentimes asked these questions.

One popular example would be the Chinese New Year. Celebrated during the start of the new Lunar Year, it may not be a celebrated holiday like Christmas, New Year, the Fourth of July, or Thanksgiving. But because of its popularity and the whole air of mystery that is surrounded by such a celebration, everyone in the whole community is also inclined to celebrate it.

And just like most holidays coming from the Eastern part of the world, the traditions and superstitions surrounding the Chinese New Year are also expected to take part together with the celebration. So when a very curious relative suddenly asked Gale Tobin whether she believed in all the traditions surrounding the said festival. And when she expounded further as to what the relative meant by that, the relative was actually asking her whether she believed in fortune-telling and the art of Chinese Feng Shui.

As a spiritual person, Gale Tobin is free to believe what she wants. She does strongly believe in a far greater power that affects everyone in their decision-making. Being said, as a practitioner of yoga, Gale Tobin somewhat believes in an unknown force that can sometimes affect luck. Call it karma, chi, prana, or luck, there is so much mystery in this world that no one can actually explain everything.

As for believing in the powers of chi and how your animal or elemental sign can affect your luck for the rest of the year, Gale Tobin believes that there is a far greater power that can help anyone who wants to succeed for this year. And that is the power of faith, the power of peace and love with one another, and the power of working hard to achieve the results one wants for this year 2022.

Have a Happy Chinese New Year everyone and may luck and prosperity be with us all!
