Gale Tobin on Keeping Fit During the Holiday Season with Yoga



With the holiday season now almost here, Gale Tobin believes that it is now the right time to start learning about yoga and how to use this amazing exercise to keep yourself fit during the holiday season.  

Yes, Gale Tobin understands how difficult it must be to not give in to unhealthy temptations. Thanksgiving has just recently concluded and you must have had your fill of the turkey and all the awesome goodies at the dinner table. One can just imagine how the coming holiday season is going to be difficult for people who are trying to lose weight or are simply trying to keep their bodies healthy and fit.

Why yoga, you ask? Well, Gale Tobin believes that yoga is the perfect exercise for people who are still keen on staying inside. While it is already safe to go out, the pandemic is still far from over. Not to mention, the coming winter months are going to make it more difficult for people to walk out from their homes and into the gym. Thus, for those who are looking for the perfect workout while staying indoors, yoga is the answer. 

 

The key to losing weight and keeping fit with yoga is intensity levels and how often one exercises in a day. Gale Tobin does yoga for about 2 hours a day, which is more than enough body activity to help burn fat from one’s body. For those who want to lose excess weight, Gale Tobin recommends adding more hours to yoga. She also recommends adding cardiovascular exercises, such as jogging or using the treadmill.  

 

And if in case you really can’t help but enjoy all the delicious meals during Christmas, Gale Tobin recommends eating bite-sized meals in the evening to help your body digest food. This is very helpful, especially during evenings where most Christmas and New Year parties are often held. Remember, the body is not as active as it should be during nighttime, so pay attention to the meals you take during those events!
